How to Use

Understanding GPA (Simple)
GPA means Grade Point Average for a single term/semester. Each subject has credits (weight) and a grade point (quality). Higher-credit subjects impact GPA more.
Formula: GPA = (Σ Credits x Grade Point) ÷ (Σ Credits)
Scales:
- 10-point: O=10, A+=9, A=8, B+=7, B=6, C=5, P=4, F=0 (varies by college).
- 4-point: A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B-=2.7, C+=2.3, C=2.0, C-=1.7, D=1.0, F=0 (typical mapping; may vary).
Always check your institute’s handbook for the exact mapping. This tool lets you pick a preset and still enter custom points if needed.
